Okay wtf is going on? I just got this call that said i won 1,000 dollars and to receive my prize press one so i playfully pressed 1 and the phone line just said congrats! and then hung up!!!! It wasn't on my cell phone it was on my house phone!!! I have never received this call in my cell, or my 2 house phones!(the call was in Spanish but I understand and speak Spanish)
When you pressed 1 they think your # leads to a Spanish speaker foolish enough to maybe be talked into buying a sweepstakes share or promo package. They'll sell your number for like $.05 (along with any others) to any company (anywhere) that wants your demographic.
