Called today for first time. I usually don't answer caller unknown but am sick of telemarketers. When I answered he said welcome back and laughed a scary laugh and hung up.
This number is a company that makes money by tricking you into renewing your magazine subscriptions though them. They pose as authorized representatives of the magazine publsihers or distributors, but they charge you far higher rates than the actual magazine companies do. When in doubt, go to the website for your magazine and renew directly through them.
This guy called about our Discovery magazine and said he was going to charge me for three years using the card on file (we took this magazine earlier). He wouldn't take no for an answer and even pretended that I was saying yes. What can we do about thi nut case?
