Called today for first time. I usually don't answer caller unknown but am sick of telemarketers. When I answered he said welcome back and laughed a scary laugh and hung up.
I got someone that answered when I said hello with an attitude I got sick of these people calling and she asked for someone who doesn't even live in this town and she gave me an attitude when I said she needs to stop calling here.
Son answered the phone caller asked for me by name I got on the phone and she said my name 4 times then hung up .I did *69 and got the phone # and tried calling back and it said your call can not go thru .!! This is MOST annoying cant some one stop them ?
just got a call from this number, they asked for someone who doesnt live here. I told them there is no one here by that name and asked them to not call back and he told me he would keep calling back. I asked for a supervisor and he told me he was one.
i got a call from this number a few minutes ago. claimed they were from soap opera digest (a co i've had very poor dealings with--i've been harassed w/calls to renew for the past 3 yrs from different phonenumbers) and the man told me he knew where i lived, my information and that even though i told him no i dont want the subscription that i will be finding something in the mail. I cant complain to the bbb because there is nothing, no address, to report, just a phone number. I hung up and they called back again, another person this time, same soapopera crap. :(
I've been getting about 2-3 calls per day for the last few weeks. At times, they have been calling around 7am and 9pm. When I answer, they hang up. Once, I answered the phone by saying "Take me off your calling list!" A women's voice asked why? I said, "Because we do not like solicitors!" She replied,"They were not solicitors. She was calling from Global Readers Services about renewing a magazine subscription that we canceled two years ago." I told her we didn't want to renew it, stop calling. She hung up on me. Later, at 9pm the same night, my husband answers the phone. It was them again! He told them the same thing. They hung up on him also. We have not heard from them for the past 12 hours. Hopefully we won't any longer.
