I receive on average 5 to 6 calls a week from this number. The person starts out by telling me they are calling about my Visa card. They then offer me a $50 Wal-mart gift card and try to sell me on a discount card. The last time I was actually home to answer the call, I told them I was not interested and not to call me again. Since that time I have received 6 more calls.
I received calls from 231-732-2643 at least 3 times a day for a couple of days. They said something about the VISA card, and they even know my name. I keep asking who they are, and what they wanted, and they hanged up. We'll see if they'll call again.
Company said they Represent American Express and wanted to send me a free gas card as a thank you for using the AMEX.
Then they said they wanted me to try out the free discount card and if I wanted to keep the card, then it would be $19 a month and they would charge the card.
I told them hell no and they were not with AMEX. I hung up and they continued to call.
I have been getting calls from 231-732-2643 & 231-224-2072. I don't answer phone calls from #s I don't know so does anyone know what they are about? Are they scammers?
