BTW, you can block calls with some Panasonic cordless telephones. I have a model KX-TG6511B base station with a model KX-TGA652 handset. It will block up to 30 numbers plus any call without a number. Claims to be with Windows, said I have a problem with my computer. I asked him which computer and he said "the Windows computer." I told him we have multiple and what is the name of his company. He said Windows, I asked for the legal name. He hesitated, mumbled, and hung up.
I never answer numbers I don't recognize. . .Worth the price for caller I.D. If it's truly someone who needs to talk to me, I'm sure they will leave a message.
Like my daughter told me, "Would you open your door to someone you don't know?" It's the same for phone calls.
So all you telemarketers . . . .save your time and take my phone number off your list!
