Insurance scam. Report to FBI! Got a call from them about a pain cream. I'm 20 years old with no pain!! Hung up on me when I told them I didn't have pain.
I believe this "company" is involved with some sort of Medicare/Medicaid scam. I spoke to a very personable gentleman who informed me that by giving them some basic insurance information they could make me a cream to help with "my pain" I asked how they received my name & # & that I don't not suffer with chronic pain, this man tried convincing me that everyone has pain & they along with my dr. Could create a compound cream just for me. I explained I do not give out any personal information to cold callers & certainly know better than to give them my policy # which just so happens to be my SSI #, & if they truly would like to "help" me than how about your company name, address, & phone? The caller quickly told me to have a great day & hung up. Please don't give these criminals even your birthdate, that's all they need to destroy your identity. I'm planning on reporting this "company" to every single agency from the B.B.B. to the attorney general, the audacity!
It's some kind of scam. They want to "verify" your information about some kind of "topical pain cream." I said "I will not verify anything as I do not receive any such product." That resulted in a prompt good bye and click on the other end. I spoke to a "Tara." Probably identity fraud.
This happens at a minimum of 4 times per day from random numbers that I always double check. No messages and I check my call detail every day. What do these callers think they will accomplish.
