People!People! Whenever you get an unwanted call. Just do what I do. Repeat several times. NO ENGLISH! NO ENGISH!
If they ask you what language? Just make up a language. Have fun.
Two calls! It would seem that this outfit is operating an aggressive telephone (credit card) phishing scheme. Their pre-recorded message leads to an operator who offers to lower interest rates on AMEX, DISCOVER, VISA, and MASTERCARD credit cards. The operator abruptly ends the call when credit card information is not quickly disclosed or if any questions (e.g., their company name) should be posed. BEWARE!!!
SO TIRED OF GETTING THESE PHONE CALLS!!!!! The message stated that "They had been trying to reach me for some time about lowering my credit card interest rate. The offer was about to expire." I'm on the Do Not Call list. With all these bogus calls, I'm not sure what good it's doing.
This phone number rang in to my home phone. It comes up on my caller ID as 239-498-3522. Being on the National DO NOT CALL REGISTRy, I thought it had to be someone I knew. I answer the phone and there was silence and they said they were credit card services. So I asked for what credit card? They said for all of them! So, I asked how do I know you are credible and that giving you information to lower my rates is the right thing to do? They hung up on me. Sweet! Thankfully I did not give them personal information. Sounded way too fishy for me.
Just got a call, 239-498-3522, credit card thingy, spoke to a guy who wanted to help me lower my interest rate, What card I said? All of your cards, we work with them all SCAM, he called my work number, I don't use my work number on CCs, I told him this, he hung up.
