Just got a call from these guys but didn't pick up since I didn't recognize the number. No message was left. I had no idea who they were until I googled the number out of habit. I reported them also with whocalled.us and it seems there are a large number of people that have been called by them. I am also on the do not call registry for all the good in this case. I do have admit though the do not call registry seems to work great except for this one time.
i got a call today from 1-239-498-3522 from bonita springs florida. they said they were from account services and that I should press 1 to speak with an service person, so I did. I asked what company this was and they said account services. I then said I dont have an account with you at which time they hung up on me. I did a reverse call on the # to find the mailbox was full. I have had several of these calls and they have now pissed me off. If there is a law enforcement agency investigating this please post and I would be happy to contact you and assist in anyway I can.I also filled w/ftc
I won't say that when I hear the pre recorded message that I press 1 and wait for an operator so I can use my rape whistle. I will say I hang up and then press *57. Maybe eventually law enforcement and telecommunication companies will work together and get these calls stopped. This was the same taped message for my last chance to Lower Credit Card Interest rates.
239-498-3522 is now selling extended auto warranties. received a human call who asked if I was the primary resident at this number. I answered yes and was passed to a pre-recorded message telling me that my auto warranty was about to expire and I need to renew it. My car is 10 years old and the warranty expired 6 years ago.
On the second call, I asked the caller to be placed on the do not call list rather than answer the resident message. He promptly forwarded me to the prerecorded message.
On the third call in two hours, I asked for a supervisor. was again forwarded to the recording.
Last resort, called phone company and added caller phone number to my call block list.
I get calls from this place telling me that it is the last chance to lower my credit card rate. Today I pushed 1 and nothing happened. I then tried to call the number back and it said it wasn't in service at this time. What can we do about this?
