Received the same call which wanted my computer to be turned on. So I went along with the scam and then blasted a very fowl langauge assault.
The party hung up, they keep call 3 so far today. The priblem is, I don't have a house computer. :)
Receive daily calls, M - F, from 239.793.2144. When I am home I can report approximately 6-10 calls a day from this number. When I have picked up there was an Asian speaking man asking for my husband, by name, when I didn't respond to see if more was said or noise in background could be heard, the caller simply hung on the line but went silent (went on for a good 30 seconds...creepy).
According to Uncle Google, Karl Meyer of Naples FLA died in 2013. I have snarled at a couple of the Indians "from Windows": "aren't you ashamed of yourself for trying to scam people?" which results in an immediate hang-up. But I DO wonder if that's why I'm getting lots and lots of dead-line calls (4-5 a day!) -- starting a 6:30 a.m. {frown}
i got this call from some one with a indian accent... I built all of the six computers in my house and i know they all set for privacy mode. HANG UP And block the number
This number keeps calling. One time the person said he was calling about Microsoft, concerning my computer. He has called several times and at 5 AM, in the morning. I spoke to someone once, and said no thank you, but keeps calling.
I get several calls from them - Indian Accent (i.d. Karl Mayer - (239) 793-2144).

Wanted access to computer. Told them to politely F#@$ O%&.
They called back twice again within 5 minutes - morons.
