Received call on my cell phone from 240-204-9491 informing me that the IRS would take action against me (for unknown reason). I called it back from a separate land line and called was answered by gentleman with thick Asian-Indian accent asking me for personal information. I immediately refused to provide info and hung up. If the IRS wants to contact ANY of us, they will not be calling you, they will send a BONAFIDE CERTIFIED LETTER making sure you received it. Don't play into these scams. I sent the number to my reject list.
We've been trying to reach you. The irs is filling a lawsuit against u. Call this number back. imediately i called back and a man gave me a number a his name when i asked his identity and work number he continued to ask for my last four numbers of my security. When i stated i have no taxes to file and that. I don't work cause I'm disabled. He then said am i lying to him. And that if i weren't lying to give last four of my social on recording or else he could not verify. If im truthful . I then told him that i do not know about filling taxes and if taxes were filed on my behalf. That i don't know how.. I then told him i need to get with my case managers and or lawyer and cal him back because this doesn't make sense he then told me he will not call anymore and that. Everything is fine. I told him he sounds like a scam artist and that i will look into him
