A Lady Recording Called from this number 252-555-0113 Tuesday April 21, 2015 at 11:35 AM and left a Message on our answer Machine .
From US dept. of Treasury Tax Fraud threatening jail time directing us to call 240-232-2197. We DID NOT call Back.
Sounded like a Big Scam !!!
Received a call at 1144 hours, out of area call. Told us to call back on the 2402322197 left message with badge number 4165. Called back, they said they would call back within 30 minutes. Further call backs yielded no answer! IRS gestapo is bad enough - they need to nail the scammers!
Same type of call as other posters. Message left on answering machine on 5/4/15 at 5:15 p.m. from 740-555-0158 but message (female voice with British accent) said to call 240-232-2197 claiming call was from IRS tax fraud and we needed to call to avoid jail time. SORRY NOT FALLING FOR IT!!
