Sounds like you are being scammed from someone who doesn't work for this company. There are alot of scams going around right now saying they are these payday lenders, when actually they are not. I received one from the also looking for someone I even know. I didn't tell them anything, I turned it over to my local police dept. If you are being sued they said, you would receive a registered mail from the person suing you. Then you deal with it then. That is how the law works in the states. They never call and harrass you for money by phone. Or even try to settle out of court. That is the RED FLAG. It is all done through our legal system and registered mail.
They called me three times left a message that there was a theft and my name came up and charges would be filed ha wow these guys are idiots if I maid an 800$ payment they can get my name removed from the court file wow..get a real job. And a life
I have received a few calls from this number as well as a couple of other numbers saying the same thing. That I am under investigation and there are documents out there that I need to sign or have my attorney to look at. I have called back but received no answer and if they have my info then why have I not received any letter in the mail..... If there is some sort of debt owed, I want to pay it but I am not just sending some company money without seeing some type of documentation.
Got a call today about a payday loan from 2008...i explained that at this point, i do not have the funds, but i am not refusing to pay...this lady (Janice Hunter) then tells me she needs to be transferred to my human resources department to verify employment...i said, you need any paperwork filed with my employer, then you send it to me and i will submit it to them...they're not the IRS or county taxes...it's freakin' crazy.
