They have called me 3 times today, I did not answer. I googled this number and found out it was a solicitor. They just called me at 9:42 p.m. and asked for me by name. I said who is this and they said there were calling about someone in my household being diabetic and asked who was. I told them no one and to quit calling me. They got very nasty. I told them not to call me again and to F... off! He kept talking and I hung up on him. Who can we report this to?
I called my phone carrier after looking online about what I could do and they basically told me to call the police, make a complaint and call them back with the info to make a more serious report. Call your phone carrier and ask them how they can help you. Good luck.
Asking if someone recently died because of diabetes.
These calls are likely coming from outside of the US (the Maryland CID info doesn't mean the call is coming from MD) and therefore nothing can really be done since it's a federal government matter. It's probably from India and what they're trying to do is get your SS#, and apparently they've been at this for a while. The best advice is to hang up right away and they'll eventually stop calling. And again, so no one is confused, this is a scam 100% not just some telemarketers. They're the same scam that send you emails telling you that you've won money. No one should EVER GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION.
I get from 2 to 4 calls a day from this number! No one ever says anything. It is getting really annoying and someone needs to do something about this! Like maybe the phone company should shut the line down!! Now wouldn't that be a slick move?
