This number calls me at least twice a day every day (even on weekends). They ask for the same person everytime (Alida?). I have informed them repeatedly that there is no such person with that name associated with this phone number.
When I call the number, it is just a busy signal.
I dont receive calls from this number, however when people call the number back it goes to my cell phone sometime and I have to constantly explain that it is not me calling them. My area code is 609 and 609 numbers call me all the time all pissed and it is very frustrating to have to explain sometime 5-6 times a day what is going on. Just actually had a guy call me askign me while yelling if I wanted to sell him something... I told him that I didnt call he swore I did called me an [***] than hung up. Wprst part is I have to answer because I am a Finance Manager at a car dealer and I mention the dealer name in my VM. If I dont answer they then think I really am soliciting them.....PAIN IN THE A**
This is not good, it's almost as unsolveable as getting these calls in your life in the first place. We have had many problems like this in our small city-a number you have is close to a realy popular one-and guess which has to change numbers? I wish thre was a way to get a number for the rat-callers- but they hide.
If you can't figure out why these calls are often "blank" this may help.
They use computers to automatically dial numbers in the entire prefix series- ALL . AC-324, every one in use in that system available online. then the next and the next and the next prefix.
These systems can dial multiple #s at once and usually do to ensure full "live" lines all the time. If one gets through the others in that "batch " that no one is available to pick up are ignored or dropped, but you hear the call center noise for a few seconds on a few of them that don't cut off within the set time.
I've stopped asking where they got my number they always say it's dialed by a computer. Double rats.
