There is no Andrew here but I was trying to see what they would say.
I get these types of calls too. I had 4 yesterday from several #s, all identifying themselves as "Michigan Call."
248-228-3915, 248-429-4201, and 810-224-5113. Some of the calls are only minutes apart. Most hang up when I answer. The few times someone does start talking, I have tried, in vain, to ask that they remove me from their call list. I am also on the Do Not Call Registry, and I report every nuisance call, but it has not worked. At this point I plan to try a different tactic. I plan to answer the call and, in a raspy voice, say, "Ok, it's done, but there's blood everywhere." Hope that freaks them out enough to stop calling. Other ideas I had would be to answer the call with "(my city's name) Police Department," or some company name followed by "Private Investigators." Maybe that will scare them off. After doing this, I will then use my blocking capability to block at least those numbers. I'm sure they have many more to use, but it's worth a try. Good luck, people!
I keep getting calls that say "Michigan call" on the caller ID. I've picked up twice just to see what it was, and they never answer. I say "hello" 3 times, and after that, I tell them, "3 strikes, you're out!" and hang up. Then I use my handy-dandy 250-number call block feature on my new Panasonic phone and block those idiots. :-) They can keep calling, I'll just keep blocking.
