Call 5x each day. I finally decided to answer. Jack Mason, (interesting fictional character name on James Bond 007) states hes is investigator with IRS fraud department seeking collection. Wants my name to look up my file. He obviously has my name and number so I hand phone to my grown son who states he is a homicide detective and needs to report all callers who call this location and to please report his full name and full address, company and reason for business.
Yep, Jack promptly hung up call. No calls since. Works every time!
Got a call from this number, came in on CallerID as "Wireless Caller". Person had thick Indian accent but claimed to be a representative of the IRS, there was an urgent matter regarding the IRS. He was very difficult to hear and was very unpleasant. I hung up on him and searched online to find out if this was a phone scam. Glad to find out it was.
I got 2 phone messages today (excluding those that I have ignored before from this same number). It's a recording of a guy who claims to be from IRS calling from Washington and that I'm supposed to call him about a tax fraud made under my name, or risk being arrested. I already know this to be a scam so I just ignore it. Sadly, there are just too many scammers in this country who just wants easy money doing a rusty beat up tactic.
