Call 5x each day. I finally decided to answer. Jack Mason, (interesting fictional character name on James Bond 007) states hes is investigator with IRS fraud department seeking collection. Wants my name to look up my file. He obviously has my name and number so I hand phone to my grown son who states he is a homicide detective and needs to report all callers who call this location and to please report his full name and full address, company and reason for business.
Yep, Jack promptly hung up call. No calls since. Works every time!
Shane Lopez just called saying that I had been audited by the IRS and demanding immediate payment of $3464.00... caught me completely unawares... couldn't figure out where they got this figure from... and was thinking, "Wow! That's a lot of work to collect such a small figure (he had me on the phone for 35 minutes)! This is why this country is in peril!": Threating to arrest me and put me in jail for seven days if I don't come up with the cash by tomorrow (cash to be collect by some IRS person between 9am-3pm, he was gracious enough to allow me to pick the preffered time within that timeframe.), meanwhile if mention this matter to anyone they too will be endanger of being arrested as they will now be considered accompices too (he spouted of 3 counts that I was accused of.. I can only remember the 3rd which was "theft by deception #6331H (none of this made absolutley any sense to my ears, but I was scared anyway.. we were being recorded!). Anyway, my dad came home just in time and demanded I give him the phone so he can talk to this person, of course I refused to give it to him because I was terrifed for him and because I am an idiot. Long story short, my dad grabed the phone from me and started to ask the guy what this all was about and the guy hung up! They almost had me! Those clowns must have had a good laugh over me because I seriously fell for it! Had it not been for my dad, I would've paid them! I'm just afraid they will seek retribution and steal my identity or something.. they knew my name and address (never verified my SS# and I didn't give it). So scary! I am awake!!!
Got a call from this number today from Jack Mason stating he was from the IRS legal department. First of all today is a federal holiday so i knew something was suspicious if a Government employee was working on a holiday...smh. I told them that i knew this was a scam and to never call my phone again.
I thank you all very much. I got the same call from the same number and he told me that his name was Ross Oneal but had a very heavy Indian accent. I told him I was a cop, he said he will call me back bcos he's having computer issues. But when I googled the number that he said was an office number it comes up as a wireless number!!. Fuckung [***] holes
We got a call again today from 253-244-9504. Had one the other day also. I am very tempted to call them back and have some fun but it's probably not worth my time. I guess they are hoping for someone who doesn't understand how the IRS works and try to get them to pass along pertinent info. They no doubt are praying on the old and feeble. I only wish I could find their address and go pay them a visit. It would be the last visit they ever had.
I just got this call and called back right away the number don't even ring. It just quit nothing comes up it just keeps up like that. Tryed it for about 3 to 4 times same thing stayed on the phone for like two minutes waiting for even a ring lol
