All they said was "Do Not Hang Up, this is not a sales call". Yeah, right. I am sick of these call. Of course I did hang up! It shows on caller ID as a local call. Go figure?
Recorded message that started out with "Do NOT hang up! This is not a sales call." Then the voice went on to describe an unnamed pain relief cream and that I could confirm the shipment information if I pressed 1. The number is probably spoofed and my complain to the Do Not Call registry will likely mean nothing.
My home phone has turned into a nuisance and is no longer an instrument of convenience. AT&T will lose another customer soon just like the thousands before me if they choose to allow these calls to continue.
My husband falls for many of these calls. When I get home from work, I have to undo what he has purchased, cancel credit cards, etc. Been on the Do Not Call List, doesn't help. The phone is going bye-bye this week. I will be looking for a "No Soliciting" sign for the front door also.
Mary enough already...it is always men who fall for these things yet we are still not caught up to them in the salary gap. Are they always looking for that rainbow that does not exist in the financial market?
This phone number called my home phone at 3:12 pm CST today (7/3/14). I don't answer phone calls from numbers I don't recognize so I let the answering machine take the call. They left a pre - recorded message about some kind of non - narcotic pain cream. I added the number to my phone's call block list. There have been several numbers calling my home phone about this pain cream for the past couple of weeks. Those never left a message, but I found out that's what they were calling for from other people on this website who answered the call.
