All they said was "Do Not Hang Up, this is not a sales call". Yeah, right. I am sick of these call. Of course I did hang up! It shows on caller ID as a local call. Go figure?
This one came up on the caller ID as LOCAL um that area code is NOT local here. As if we would answer. But if we mistakenly did and heard that "Do NOT hang up! This is not a sales call." That is clearly a challenge and we would immediately hang up!!! HAHAHAHAH
I usually ignore these calls, but was curious and hoped I could tell them to take me off their call list. It was a recording that began "Don't hang up, this is not a sales call". I continued to listen to the message. The caller talked about pain medication and the dangers of addiction and wanted to send me some cream that was non-narcotic. I was supposed to press #1 to verify my address and #5 to notify my insurance of refusal of the offer. I hung up and will report this call to the do not call registry. I, too, and tired of these annoying calls. The caller ID said Local, but the area code was not mine. Hope this info will help and prevent someone from getting scammed.
Called @ 1:27PM- I answered & no one said anything on their end so I held the line-----RUN UP THEIR BILL-they never spoke @ all-heard them hang up sp I did-----as above person said on here must've been so very important.
Called and left no message. They called one time prior to this; I got the same BS that others have posted. Since 253 is the area code for Washington state, I looked-up the phone number and address of the Seattle Police Dept. and will give it to the scammers.
