Yeah dude I got the same call from this number as well, same "Hi Thing" Its pretty messed up that citizens of the united states cant even keep thier own cell phone number private anymore. Im thinking about tracking these people down myself. Its sad too because people like me actually do try thier best to handle things within the law. But the law only helps us so much, then they just dont care after a while. *Sigh* Wheres the Gat?
This number calls me a few times per week offering "get out of debt services". I have opted out by pressing "2" and by talking to an operator at least 10 times. The calls keep rolling in!
I have no issues with sales calls, but I do have an issue with repeated contact after I have opted out numerous times.
Companies like these sell the call as a "live transfer" when you say you are interested. I make it a point to get all the way through to the guy that is paying $25-$50 to talk to me and let him know the company he is working with is not only being unethical, but flat out illegal. I get that person's name and the company he works for. I try and get the name of the company that owns the call center, but they never give it up. Maybe someday.
