I received a phone call from this number that I won a federal government price of 7,000 that I have been chosen for being a good citizen with no criminal records etc... but for me to get the price a had to send $198 and they will unlock the tracking number for me to retrieve the price from western union, I told them that I checked my bank account and that I don't have that amount of money and told them deduct those 198 bucks from my price and just send me the $6802 they told me that they were not able to do that since I don't remember the reason because he had a very strange accent.
I received a similiar call telling that I won a $10,000 grant. They asked a bunch of personal questions that I didn't answer. I haven't called the number nor plan to.
I received a call from a woman with Filipino accent. She informed me that the government is awarding me $10,000 for being a good citizen. She did had my address. She gave me an access code, and said I should call her financial manager, give the manager this code, and then I will be given information to release the prize. She did ask if I preferred a direct deposit, and I said yes.
