I was called from the exact number 253-693-4892 every single one had an accent. NOT AMERICAN!! They asked me for a $220 deposit to green dot card and after $450 for western union fees. I literally went off on them, insults and cussing and all. They knew my address and everything. Pieces of [***]. It was strange that a manager from a bank answered his own line. I'm from Laredo, Texas one of the most dangerous border towns and [***] like that would never go down here. If it does you literally get robbed by the Zetas right at your door step. These [***] are trying to scam anyone they can.
I received a call from this number today stating I was selected to receive a 10K grant from US Federal Grants Dept. They were asking for personal information and the only way to receive the funds was via my visa (debit or credit card), bank account, or western union. So I told them to give me a call back # so I could research it. It was a lady with an Indian accent. Such a scam. Do not give them any information. The # comes on the phone as unknown.
I got a call from the number 253 6934892 heavy accent in back ground. They already knew that I knew it was a fraud. They knew my name and address. they put me on hold for a long time. I was looking forward to see how far they would go. they somehow hacked into something that have personal information. It is quite a few you could hear them all talking in the back. I asked why so many foreigners calling about a federal grant. i was ignored.
