Some guy calling from "US Deputy Sheriff's Association". Said that they needed money for bulletproof vests and officers lost in the line of duty. I asked them if they could send some info in writing. Guy said that he needed a pledge from me before he could send me some materials by mail. I said that I'll pledge something as soon as I get something in writing. Guy said "ok, thank you" and hung up.
Sounds like a scam to me. Oh, yeah, Stranger, let me give you my credit card number so you can take all of my hard-earned money out of my account!

The registered service provider is Lucre**. Called it back a few times, either it's busy or I get "mailbox full."
Calls everyday for past month. I've ask to be taken off list-hang-up in mid sentence. I have reported to PUC of Texas & do not call list- unfair that they keep calling w/any recourse
