They have been calling me every day at 11;30am and it is very annoying. I too have a mortgage through Nationstar which was recently taken over from GMAC.
I have never been late on my mortgage and I always send a little extra to put towards the princpal each month. I never answer the call because I am at work but I hear the phone vibrating in my purse and it very distracting.
This person calls throughout the day and evening, and does not leave a message. When I call back, it simply says this person's voicemail box is full. STOP!
They keep calling us asking for a Carol Phillips. I've told them several times that we have had this phone number for almost a year and no one by that name lives here. When I told them to take my phone number off their list they said they would, but it might take a month for the calls to stop. Well it's been months and months now. Today when they called and I started my spiel, I didn't get past "take this number..." before they hung up.
Thanks for the info on who it is. We're going to pursue collection of the $1000 fine from National Star Mortgage.
