I actually had the same problem, I was so out of it that I confirmed the zip code. I've cancelled my card, but I was hoping you could tell me how you dealt with the problem, since your post was made about a year ago I thought you might be able to help.
How did you get them to leave you alone? To stop them from calling.I did use acia berry supplements and now this Vista people are calling me. Hope I don't find charges to my account.
I've been receiving calls from this number for days now...I don't shop much but I have recently made purchases at Old Navy and Target so, like a previous poster, I'm wondering if one of these stores is to blame. I tried calling the number back before finding this link and I too, received the automated message. I'm hoping they call again so that I can at least discern which credit card they have info from...I already suspect it's the one that all my automated payments are tied to since that's the only one I really use. Canceling it (and updating my online banking) will be a real pain to say the least. At least I found this page and know what I'm up against. Argh.
Hi! Me again...I just posted this morning (see above) and as I had hoped, I got another call from the number. When they mentioned locations I could use the Smart Shopper savings at, Target and Best Buy were both included...which reminded me that I had purchased a card for my camera last week at Best Buy...with a credit card I rarely use...which is the one they referenced...which leads me to believe that Best Buy might be the culprit who's sharing information. Regardless, I told the woman that I've gotten burned too many times with these programs to accept. She promptly told me to have a good day and hung up. Now, off to cancel my card and order another one. Grr.
Got 2 calls last night and one this morning at 9am. I DID NOT and WILL NOT answer them because I do not recognize the number. I assume, correctly, that whoever is calling wants something from me: either my money, information about me or, at best, my time. They will obtain nothing other than legal action if they persist. This is invasion of privacy and must stop.
