Caller said..due to the nature of the call,they could not put the details on an answering machine(I had answered the call)it was important I called before 9:00 PM.
I got a bunch of calls on my answering machine telling me to call back before 9pm. I ignored it at first (sounded bogus), but became concerned when the calls kept coming in. I found this site after Googling the number, and decided not to call back; but then I went to another site that was slightly less negative (but not by much). So I called UF. They picked up right away and asked for my number. I told her, and she asked me if I was "Joe Blow" or whatever. When I said no, she said that she'd delete my number.
After I had hung up, I recalled that UPS had tried to deliver a package to my home a few months ago. I thought that the name the woman on the phone mentioned might have been the name on the package from UPS. So now I'm worried; maybe someone is using my address and phone number to steal things through the mail.
I called UF back and gave them my number; she was true to her word - they were unable to find my number in the database. So I was treated well by UF, but I'm a little worried.
