Had fun with this one. I answered using my full title, Special Agent Sutton of the FBI. They became nice really fast, before I made clear who I was they had a snippy attitude, some woman with a Mexican accent. I asked them who they were and she said that should couldn't say. I asked if she was deaf and if she heard where I worked and she referred me to her manager. Now she didn't tell the [***] who I was and he chewed on me for a while and I let him. Than he asked for my name and as I told the lady I told him. He apologized and I ignored it. Than told him he was some sort of prick having the audacity to call me with a machine and than to make me call them back wasting my minutes. He said he was sorry and I told asked him what he wanted. He told me some bull story and I told him to shove it and said if he called again I would personally file a Federal grievance against him and his company for harassment of a Federal employee. Worked right well I will have you know.
Anyways I did a little snooping and found they are some 3rd party POS with no real purpose but to piss you off. Actually there was an investigation into them and a few other groups and they were tagged as a watch nothing more. So basically that means they may or may not be a fraud. But hey I am not SS so I am not sure the current status of that operation. Anyways they are complete bull, they wanted me and said I was 3000$ in debt but the thing is I use cash and rarely a debit card that is issued by my bank and not some credit card company, actually it is annoying as only local stores accept the debit card because it is not backed by an major group like Visa. So these guys are bull.
OK SO WHAT DO i DO, NOT BEING AN AGENT? THEY CALL ME OVER 40 TIMES A WEEK. AND THEN NO ONE IS THERE BUT A RECORDING. I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST BUT, THEY KEEP DOING IT. I HAVE RESORTED TO LEAVING MY RINGER OFF ON THE PHONE AT NIGHT AND IN THE AM. PLEASE HELP ME. WHAT CAN I DO? MY HUSBAND IS A GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE. DOES THAT HELP? THEIR PURPOSE IS TO JUST ANNOY. I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FUN TO WRITE SLIPS SAYING CALL THIS NUMBER AND EMAIL SOS & SO AND EVERY FIFTY CALLER GETS $50.00 HAHA. THEN THEIR LINES WOULD BE CLOGGED. HAHA
Have called previously, caller ID said UFC, never left a message. Recently caller ID changed, accented woman's voice says "hello, hello, hello" after answering machine ends.
The left a message on my answering machine same as above, "it's imperative that you call back by 9pm".
Usually when caller ID indicates a crank call, I answer the phone in Japanese and speak in Japanese. This usually causes them to delete my number. Didn't get the chance to do it yet on this one.
