Got a call from some maching telling me I needed to call 281-647-4152 by 9 PM tonight. Funny thing is, I have no idea how they got my #. The # that they called me on is a business line that my work (a large corporation) pays for. They pay for the line and I work from home. I certainly don't use the # for any type of credit transactions and I don't have any debt to collect on. All bills have, and always will be current. Thought it was funny that they don't give you a name of someone to speak to or any other information then "University Fidelity". I also looked up their website to see if they had an 800 # so that I didn't get charged for the phone call. 1-800-807-1439 someone will pick up and say University Fidelity Client Services and then you tell them why you are calling and she says "Ill transfer you to collections". So she does and then it rings and rings and when it picks up again apparently it dumps you into someones voicemail. The one that I got said "Marcus". That's it. Not this is Marcus with University Fildelity please leave me a message and Ill get back to you just "Marcus". Anyway, I took the email address that someone else previously posted on the website "
[email protected]" and am also going to send them an email. Then I will also report them to the BBB and the Do not call list monitors as I am on that as well. I suggest you all do the same so that we can get these people straightened out once and for all!
