i just received a message from an officer john addams saying he was from the office of federal bureau of investigation and that i have an investigation against my social and listed the last four of my social and that if i didn't respond to his call may god be with me and he too has a heavy indian accent. when i called the number back a recording comes on with a lady you can barely understand thank god i did a phone number look up and saw these complaints, cause i know if the FBI wanted to contact me first thing is that i would receive a letter with the government official stamp telling me when to contact them and not threating phone calls, they know if you threaten someone right off the bat chances are that person would runa dn hide not call ou back. so whom ever they are take me to court and prove your case.
i just received a call and i went off.... first off the call was for my husband the man stated he was calling from the federal department of justice (which does not exsist it is the US department of justice) and he had an allegation on him which did not make any sense An allegation on who? what? He had no answer he just "transferred the call" and soon as my husband said he did not have the money thinking it was just a plain ol bill collector the man immediatly said I am going to send the police to your house..... Me being an overbearing wife snatched the phone knowing a threat like that was unethical.... The man started telling me as soon as i said hello that the police are on their way if i do not pay i am going to jail.... who? what? So i started making my own threats... I guess he thought telling me the police was coming was going to scare some money out my pockets uhhh no!! I know better that the entire call and conversation was against my rights. I asked for company information and all that He did not give any instead Hung up the phone and called me right back claiming to be a police officer but could not tell me a city or county that he was in........ I am on the internet finding out how i can report this fool for this bs......
these people are terrible - just called me looking for someone I do not even know - have had almost a hundred calls for this other person - this one I called back - and yes - heavy accent and said name was officer rick ? when I called back and asked who he was gave a different name - I told them I wanted the name of their company and he said - "I was harrassing him" yeah right - then used foul language on me and hung up....he kept asking me my name and I refused to give it to him - which made him angry. how can you stop these - they are always different numbers.
i got a call today from this number and one yesterday from 707-534-2308 i get smart with them they r a scam he got so mad today he said [***] u hung up and called back i just keep calling them back harrassing them that they r scamming people and there going to jail so they change there number and cal me back
I got that call today also, he had the same accent and name that you guys are talking about. he told me i was a suspect, and something about a 300.00 payday lone, i have never taken out a pay day lone, when he got uppity with me, I told him I knew nothing about this and that I was going to call the police. I did call the cops, they took report and and told me to put a fraud watch on my ssn...
i got the same call at work and said they were from bureau of texas and when i caled there was a answerring machine and the number is the same and my cosuin got one at my home they called 18 times and he dont work and when he said he would go to attorney general of ny he did and was told there was a scam going around the number is 1-281-670-7252
