i just received a message from an officer john addams saying he was from the office of federal bureau of investigation and that i have an investigation against my social and listed the last four of my social and that if i didn't respond to his call may god be with me and he too has a heavy indian accent. when i called the number back a recording comes on with a lady you can barely understand thank god i did a phone number look up and saw these complaints, cause i know if the FBI wanted to contact me first thing is that i would receive a letter with the government official stamp telling me when to contact them and not threating phone calls, they know if you threaten someone right off the bat chances are that person would runa dn hide not call ou back. so whom ever they are take me to court and prove your case.
i got a call from the same number 2816707252 i am suppose to have gotten a payday loan of400 dollars and have not paid it back. checked with my bank over the last year no such amount was put in my account. its a scam
These people are calling stating I owe Cash Advance, never did a cash advance. told me they were Federal Crime Enforcement Network and I would be arrested in 24 hours.
They left me 2 messages in the same hour yesterday. I could not understand anything they said because their accent is so thick. But, I called them back just to see what the heck they were talking about and the guy told me that I took out a payday loan sometime in 2010, but he was not able to give a specific date. That disturbed me. Even more disturbing, he had ALL OF MY PERSONAL INFORMATION, including BANK ACCOUNT and SOCIAL. I asked him twice for a specific date and he put me on hold twice. The second time, he did not come back to the phone. So I called him back, and got voicemail. What the fudge!!!!
these same people called me today also, stating that they were at my job they called me from a different area code but the phone number from my job popped up and i really thought for a minute that they were really there they had a very think accent and was theating me that were were on their way to my house to pick me up for an arrest. me not knowing any better i was afraid at first this was my first time hearing about this scam. they were saying that i owe them $666.00 for a loan that i never payed back. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS SCAM.
