He had called my husbands work place saying his name was sam smith also.. but, wouldn't leave no details.. After reading this and these comments my husband said he was not returning his phone call.. We have also recieved phone calls from other places saying about payday loans that we know we did not do and we have the bank statements to prove it.. but, the guy said that if we didn't pay so amounts of money he would have the sheriff here with a warrant.. Well, in our area in order for that to happen he has to go through our local magistrates office and they have to send out paperwork certified mail first to the complaints being made. If no response that is when they send out the Sheriff and police officer.. Some ppl are just plain stupid and morons and they think if they threaten with arrest we aren't gonna check into it first to find out if it is legit expecially when we know there was no payday loans taken out and put electronically into our account.. We aren't that stupid to give out our account information.. stupid ppl..
my underage son received a call form a man who could barley speak english making threats and telling him he needed to get an attorney asap to return his call. he said that what ever happened if he did not was out of his control
Put the pest's phone number in your son's contacts list and assign it the ring tone "no ring". It won't stop the calls but it will keep the phone from ringing when he is in class.
Our problem is they aren't calling his cell phone or our house phone they are calling his workplace phone.. They can't do that kind of stuff being a business.. so we just told the secretary it is a scam to hang up on them..
They are not suppose to call anyone's work place like that. I had someone call my work place threatening me and wanting me to give personel information. My supervisor stepped in and helped me and took one of the calls and said they are not allowed to call at my work place and we got the police involved. They are not someone to mess with. Get the police to try and help you. My husband and I. We changed our phone number and we use one feature we have from our phone company and that is you can dial *60 and put a phone number to be blocked. They also have a do not call registery. I hope this was of some help. It helped when we got our phone number changed and got a unlisted phone number.
Received at call at my employment phone number and is from a Bryan Jones with a very strong accent stating that this is the last warning and that he will be sending it to the Courthouse and will be sending federal team out to my home for an arrest warrant.
If this is a true company, then why don't they give us the correct information since I know who I owe money too.
