Yep. I had the exact same experience just now. It showed up "diverted call" on my caller ID. I let vm pick it up & it left the same recorded message. I've not applied for any sort of loan at all.
Received a call from 281-786-4015. Caller id said 'Cook Adam'. Like everyone else is reporting, it was a payday loan scam. I have never applied for any payday loan. I received the same call a few days ago with the caller id 'WireLoanToday'. If they are so easily spoofing their caller id, that tells you all you need to know.
