Yep. I had the exact same experience just now. It showed up "diverted call" on my caller ID. I let vm pick it up & it left the same recorded message. I've not applied for any sort of loan at all.
Please consider investing in a call blocking device for land line, app for cell phone. They run around $40+. Make sure you get one that will block area codes as well as individual numbers.
My Call Blocker is free. I got it from Google Play. It only works on Smart Phones or whatever they're called this week.Several were offered. I just picked the 'pretty one' (:-)). It doesn't actually block calls. It answers, recognizes the blocked caller and hangs up. It doesn't give you exact instructions so you gotta play with it some. I've got over 150 blocked phone numbers and text numbers. My phone is so quiet now sometimes I wonder if I forgot to pay the bill.
BTY, as a reminder, if you get any calls from someone with an Asian Indian accent, get ready to be scammed. You'll be asked to provide a Greendot or Western Union instrument to prove that you capable of paying your loan. Bend over, put your lips on your wallet, kiss your money goodbye. Don't waste your time with your Congressman or any Indian government agency. I've tried. I'm now getting nice-nice-smarmy calls from him as I've recruited his replacement. All I asked him to do was institute cutting aid to India if they continued to ignore their crooks. Was I asking too much? Maybe we can give them the numbers to the Prince of Nigeria. Just got a call from this number. They did not leave a message so I did not call them back. It must not have been important. I never answer numbers I cannot identify and will not all back without them leaving a message.
This number said the exact same thing as everyone else stated . It's a real lender , but they don't want you to call them , because you'll ask too many question . So they want you to go to there site where they want your email address and other Personel info. Once they get your info they have succeed in getting what they wanted . They will send you a quote for a loan that will be outrageously high and you will decline the loan . But they already have what they really wanted your Personel information .

I think illegal robocall companies like this actually purchase the do not call database and ADD the numbers to their call list rather than removing them. I did not get so many scam calls before adding my # to the do not call list.
