Claiming to be Microsoft Technical Support informing me and asked me if I was aware that my Windows-based computer was failing to install required updates. When I asked which computer they said "your personal computer". I told them I don't have one, only a work-issued computer, and they hung up.
Just called me. It was from a local number. A guy that sounded like he was from India said that he was with Windows technical department. I then hung up the phone. I have no need for Window's Technical department. Blocking number now.
Received a call that showed it was fro Houston Texas. A male that could hardly speak English said he was from Micro soft and they detected that my computer was not working properly because of a virus, and he was directed to call us to remove it. Total BS, I told him he was a con artist, he got upset and then to avoid any other of his nonsense, I jus thung up
