Got a call from 281-984-8799, guy had heavy accent sounds like he was from India, name Jackasill. Said he was from Microsoft and attempted to walk me thru "fixing my computer". Could barely understand him. Damn Scammer!
Call came in on my cell.I NEVER give the number out or list that number on anything (I keep it with me in the car in case I have car trouble ONLY) so automatically, any calls coming in on that number are not legit. No message left. From reading the other posts here, it sounds like it's the Microsoft scam. I can't believe that the scammers think people are foolish enough to think Microsoft would monitor your computer use so they could have someone from "tech support" personally call you and their only interest is to ensure your computer is running trouble free. ~LOL
Received a call from this number from someone named Jason who had a heavy foreign accent. He claimed he was calling about my windows 10 computer. I do not even have such a computer. Told him to take a hike and not to call again.
