Just received a call from 289-512-0307. Unfortunately I wasn't home. It was so garbled at the beginning I only got "CRA Revenue Canada", then he continued on with the spiel and yes it was a heavy accent. Unbelievable these idiots are so bold. It only bothered me because it upset my 74 year old mom. I told her not to worry, it was just another con by useless individuals with nothing to contribute to society. I never respond the first time to anything anyway. Apparently these [***] get belligerent too. If someone is contacting my home and interrupting whatever I'm doing, they better be polite!! .
Left a voicemail on my phone. Message was not very clear from a Robert Smythe or Smith, in accented English, saying something about my tax account being put on hold, while it is being investigated. It is not clear, muffled.
This MFer made my mom cry! He told his name was Robert Smith and he was from CRA. If she didn't pay $3189 he was having her arrested. Totally freaked the hell out of her. If I find this MFer I'm gonna tax his [***]!

Wanted my husband to call back regarding a warrant and what not?? Very hard to understand.
i just got a voice message from a Robert Smith Indian accent asking to call him back if I wanted more info at 289-512-0307. He said on the message that he was from the CRA and there was a law suit against me but no warrant out yet. The message was muffled. I was freaking out until I googled the number he left. So glad to read this other posts that it's a SCAM ! I will be reporting this to the police as well, in some hopes that it may save an elderly or nieave person from sending money!!!!!
