Guy asked to speak with me, I said "can I help you?" Never say "Yes" These guys and others like this are recording your voice to have you say "Yes", and "Your Name" to gain access to your bank and credit cards when they hack you.
This caller has called me 3 times in one morning. He keeps asking for a former employee at the business, and then he asks if the number he's called is our main number. Annoying!!
Just received a call on my work line from a man with an Indian accent who just asked if I was [my name] and when I replied yes, he just hung up. I see from the others who have written above that this appears to be his MO, though I can't guess what his motive is here.
Man called with an Asian accent and said he was from "USPS" and asked if I was "Michael". I said "yes" and the phone hung up. I think it was a scam to collect my voice saying "yes" for ID theft possibly.
Man with thick foreign accent called my company asking for my CEO, wasn't available, requested to get to my CEO's voicemail box, told him there's no voice message box and to please stop calling our phone number and remove us from their call list. He challenged that by repeatedly asking, "what do you mean by that?" and practically yelling on the phone. Informed him that his phone number is being reported, and he hung up. Slime bags.
