Real funny call, when I answered it was immediately a answering machine recording that disconnected before giving me a chance to leave a message. Called the number back and left a nasty mesage on voice mail. Internet search showed a surgeon in Bowie, MD and this site. Saw the same StarTell, LLC on caller ID as others. Could be scammers spoofing the poor Doc's number or the number has been reassinged. Sure wish the AG would go after these criminals.
Caller id say IVR. Caller spoke very quickly and not clearly. I think he said he is with Startel. This is a fraud. Claims to save on "your next month's electric bill". But first can you verify your address. I hung up. Do NOT ever ever give any information over the phone to an unsolicited caller.
