I too got a call and the man had a heavy accent. After having to say Hello 3 times he finally came on the line sayibg the same crap about me receiving a Government grant. Before I let him dive into his 'speech'I asked him how much do I have to pay, he said nothing. I let him go on because I HAD applied for a grant some months ago. So he asks for a bank account number or a prepaid card number I asked how long it would take to be on the card and he starts over talking me, which started pissing me off. I asked for a supervisor and he said I could talk to one AFTER I gave him my info. I gave him a LOT of vulgar words and hung up. When I tried to call back it was no longer in service, after a whole 3 seconds. So I googled the number and came across THIS. I think and hope they get reported since they ARE attempting fraud under the Governments name.
This number has called me 9 times in a 16 hour period. After seeing what others were saying after the first time they called I refuse to answer. They are persistent.

I just got the call and given the same name (Mike Jones), and i was told i can get the money sent to the nearest Walmart, as i did the same as u, no way was i giving my credit card numbers
