Guy calls and tells me that I get $7000 from a grant that I do not have to pay back. All he needs is my credit card number. When I hung up he called back and was irate that I hung up. I decided to treat him to his own medicine and keep calling him back and hanging up on him. LOL.
They have called me many times, and I haven't picked up. This time, without thinking, I answered. Some Indian dude (who I am assuming was at a call center due to all the background noise) claimed he was with the U.S. Grants department and that I had won $7,000 . I said I knew it was a scam and that I wanted my name taken off their list, but he said I had to sing a song or suck his d*** for that to happen. I said I was calling the cops and he quickly hung up.
DO NOT ANSWER OR CALL BACK!!
just received a call from this # i am receiving a $7000 gov't grant.... they want an account # to send the money to I told her the gov't would not call me they would send a letter and if it's really my money send me a check...when I told her I work for the IRS and i was calling my supervisor over to verify this call she hung up.
