Just blocked the number from our phones...hopefully it works! Go to your phone company and have the number blocked! I was able to do it very quickly on the internet! Was getting calls throughout the day for days now from that number!
I have gotten this call numerous times, they never leave a message. When I called them back they said they were from a financial institution and refused to give me any further information. The man was VERY nasty. I do not know who they are, I do not owe any one!
A Tina from this number just called and she was extremely rude, asking for a person who longer lives here, but Tina claims to have spoken to this person a few weeks ago. I asked what company she represents and she said if I'm not the person she asked for, I don't need to know, and told me to have the person just call the number from the caller ID (how professional!). I called back, a man answered very unprofessionally and I asked what company it was and he said "don't call this number again". I called again and it rang until a song started playing, I waited to see if it would go to an answering machine but I lost patience. I called the police and they said I can file an aggravated harassment complaint (obviously this wasn't the first time they've called but its the first time we actually had any contact, usually when we answer there is no one there). I'm going to see if they continue to call and if they do, I will file the complaint. Better doing something than nothing at all. I'm sure its a scam and its very annoying.
