Caller ID said RPM "Receivables Performance Management" the message was 3min 59 sec worth of hold music. I'm glad it's their dime. Not sure what they want.
I am a Debt Collector and ANY person that yells or talks down to you can be reported to the FDCPA and BTW calling on a Sunday is not considered Harassment it is approved under FDCPA rules. Just a rule of thumb usually if they call early in the day and in the afternoon and evening before 8pm in your time zone and they dont leave a message its a Collection Agency 9 out of 10 times the reason they dont leave a message is because under FDCPA rules you can only have 1 contact per day with the person unless given permission so leaving a message constitutes as 1 contact so if they left a message @ 8am they can not call back that day, tha'ts why they never usually leave messages. Another good piece of info is if you do answer the phone tell them this is your cell phone and they are using up your minutes once you tell them that under Federal law they are not to call that number again but just that company so that is why they change collection agencies is to get around the rules. If the same company calls back at that number you can report them to the FDCPA. Also that goes for your work if they call your job once you tell thm to stop calling your job they must cease but they still get away with it so have your boss or supervisor tell them to make it illegal. Last but not least companies are not allowed under ANY circumstances to leave ANY kind of message at all with relatives neighbors ect..... PERIOD. Hopefully I helped out a little here if any of you have any questions that you can think of Just post it on here and I will do my best to answer asap.
This is the second time they have called me. They are trying to collect a bill from verizon that doesn't exist. If it did I think my Verizon package of phone, internet and TV would have been at risk of being turned off. What a bunch of jerks
Well Curtis quit buying lists of so called debt. I don't owe Verizon any money. I am currently a Verizon customer who pays his bill every month. By the way quit threatening people - your post says it all.
