Calls repeatedly throughout the day. No message is ever left. So much for being on the Do Not Call list, although if this is truly a solicitation call from a firefighter's organization, I believe they are exempt (a charity).
Received this call on a Sunday at 12:20 p.m. Montgomery County Firefighters. Informed them I was on the Do Not Call list and requested they take me off their list. Will see if it happens. My suspicion is they are using the Firefighters as a front and scamming people. Come on.....is that all you can do for a living?
These guys called during a fire in my kitchen. They wanted money for the Firefighters' Association. I said I was a fire fighter and would like some of their largess. The guy hung up. I went back to fighting the fire in the kitchen without their help. Oh well.
They called 6/20/2010 at 12:20 pm. Picked up the phone, no answer. Went through my calls and it turns out they called about twice every week. Wish there was a way to force them to stop calling me. I work irregular schedules.
