I was left a msg. the connection was so bad and the accent sooooo strong I literally could not understand a word that was said. I couldn't even understand the phone number I was supposed to call back.
So, here we have this large American corporation paying people in OTHER countries to collect the money we owe........... it's no #^@!!*&^ wonder we can't pay our bills!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Damn %$#@^! foreigners!
Screw the credit card companies! To HELL with them all! It is no wonder out country is falling apart. Wouldn't it be nice everyone in the entire country just STOPPED paying the large credit card comapanies for two months........... Just to get a message across. This 30% interest for a late payment affects you for the next 6 MONTHS! If it is illegal and considered usary to charge more then 12% for a home loan how in the world can the cc companies get away with it?? Thanks Pres Bush. I am sorry to say I voted for you......
This isn't a number from Chase. The number they give you to call isn't really Chase, it's a SCAM. I don't know how they got my info, but they've called both my numbers. I called the number they left in the message, thinking something was wrong with my account, and I immediately noticed two things wrong: first, it wasn't automated, and second, they asked me to give them my ENTIRE SS#. I called Chase from the number on the back of my card, and the woman said the 888 number (that the message asked me to call) is not a Chase number. Also, when I Googled the 302-282-8004 number just now, there were only 4 results. If it was really Chase, there would have been more results, and the third one down at least would have been relevant to Chase. So, if you've been sucked into this, I would definitely call my banks, etc.
I got called by this number today. I didnt answer it and they didnt leave a msg. I called them back. Someone with a an accent (from India) answered. He said he was from Chase Bank. I said I didnt have an account with Chase. He wanted my SSN and I said..."No Way" and immediately hung up. No bank should ever ask for your SSN...ever.... This is definately a scam. The 302 area code is in Delaware. I will call them back tomorrow just to get more info from them.
