This number 302-283-2982 calls at least 3 - 5 times a day, sometimes even more, they never let up and rarely leave a message. If they are Sallie Mae, they don't need to be calling me, I have NO loans and owe them "0". I have a 37 year old son who has a school loan and who DOES NOT live with me - why they are calling me I will never know as they have his information. They are harassing me to get to him I guess. If they don't stop calling soon I may have to do something legally, which will be money out of my pocket which I cannot afford, but I cannot stand all the calls!
As far as I know it is actually Sallie Mae / Department of Education ... if you need or want a deferment or forebearance on your existing student loans now would be a good time to apply .... you never know what changes may be comming in the new year ....
