Not only is my number on the do not call, but it has been unlisted for several years. This is the second time got this call, but it was from a different number before. They offer relief on credit card rates based upon eligibility thru a government-related program. I don't have any credit cards.
"IMPORTANT" calls from several numbers (302-327-9010 is the one calling us today), but the recording is similar each time. The recording states "this will be the final notice" or some such for the offer of lowering interest rates... that is a laugh, because they just keep calling... and calling. We are on DNC registry. We have an unlisted number. I have tried listening through their entire recording and pressing "2" as it instructs to be removed from their call list. On days I have tried this they have called back within hours, almost as if pressing "2" simply verifies the number is live for them to harass further. Have also tried filing complaints with govt., but as of yet that has yielded no results. I have also tried calling the numbers back, and tried to be removed that way. These people keep calling no matter what... we have even complained to our phone service provider, as we have used all of the numbers we are allowed to block and still the "IMPORTANT" telemarketers just call from new numbers. If you choose the option to speak to a live operator, they will not answer for 20+ rings or so, but you will finally get a very persistent live person trying to gather your financial info. Of course don't give it to them. Tell them to remove you from the list (which they won't). I read a post on one of these reporting sites that someone blasted a boat horn into the phone after getting a live operator from this number, and that they have not received a call since. I don't have a boat horn, unfortunately, but it just shows the level of frustration that this telemarketer incites by calling over and over again. If anyone is successful at getting "IMPORTANT" to stop its phishing for financial info scam, please post.
I posted 20 h 19 min ago (as I start writing this post), and they have called again, after I specifically told not just a live rep but a supervisor to remove me from the list, and complained about the fact that I had requested to be removed half a dozen times previously. Today "IMPORTANT" called from 856-229-9060, whereas yesterday they called from 302-327-9010. How do I know they are the same? Because as chance would have it I spoke to the SAME guy! I told him I recognized his voice, and he remembered me! LOL! So without a doubt this financial scam company is calling from multiple numbers. He claims that it takes 72 hours to be removed, but I know this is not true... because I have requested multiple times to be removed over the course of months. I will be complaining (again) to the FCC, and I will post this again over on the 856-229-9060 page. Be advised, if you are getting calls from "IMPORTANT" at various numbers, they do lead to the SAME call center. The man acknowledged speaking to me yesterday when I recognized him.
Yes, I posted an hour and a half ago... and they have already called again with the same caller ID number as earlier today! This is in spite of the fact that an hour and a half ago I spoke to a rep (the same one I spoke to yesterday) and asked to be removed from the list (again). Why call so soon? "IMPORTANT" calls multiple times a day, and have been for months. I will now lodge yet another complaint with FCC/DNC, but I am posting here in case the investigations into "IMPORTANT" need data into the ongoing harrassment of this company and their incessant recorded phone calls. As stated previously, I have confirmed that 302-327-9010 and 856-229-9060 are pseudo-numbers that lead to the same call center.
