I received a call from a accented man who claimed he was from Microsoft and my computer had been hacked and was involved in illegal activities. Two hours later, a Technician
called and said he was going to fix my computer problem. I hung up.
I just received a phone call from this number 302-482-8155 and it was from an indian accented person claiming to be Jenny Smith. She said there was unwanted activity going on on my computer. She said she was from Microsoft Online Technical Department. I have no contract with them. I pulled up this web site and started reading to her the comments that others had made. I continued reading until she hung up on me. My caller ID says 900-142
I rec'd the same call - same person - same dept - same verbiage. Didn't let her do anything. Just took her info. My caller ID said the same, except she called back, and when she called back, she appeared on the caller ID as one of my contacts. :(
