I just got the call too, and I am in Michigan. I didn't pick it up though. I guess I am glad I didn't. I signed up with http://www.donotcall.gov a while ago, I wonder how I can go about reporting these [***]!
just got this call 5 mins ago. didn't answer, but after reading this I assume its another automated prick looking to break cell phone laws and screw you.
I just called Martha Coakley's office in Boston, and you should actually (from any state) call the Federal Trade commission at 877-382-4357 because the Atty General's office doesn't handle just phone #s - they need a company name. BUT, apparently the Federal Trade commission does.
CALL 877 382 4357.
I just got that call also, called back num not in service, did some research and num belongs to an elerly couple in ther late 70s, i realy cant stand these scams anymore
Same here, just got a call from this number letting me know the factory warranty on my car has expired and I should renew; this is funny, since it's a new leased car. It tells me to press 1 to speak to a representative, press 2 to get off the follow-up list. I'll bet both go to the same hard sell. Little busy today to really grill the guy. S C A M.
I agree, I bet it's a spoof, so targeting poor Ms. Hall won't solve anything.
