Just got a call from the same number. The message I received told me to log onto verizonthankyou.com for a $100 towards my next phone bill. I checked it out and as much as I could tell the page was a mirror image of the actual verizon website. The difference was in the log in menu, which looked similar to Verizon's site, but asked for more info. The links on this fake page seem to send you to the real Verizon page from what I could tell.
Both my wife and I got calls from 303-731-3432 today.Recorded voice told us to go to www.myverizon100.com, log into my account for a $100 reward. Just read an article in our local newspaper warning people not to click on suspicious links as they often download malware to your computer. Instead I googled "verizon $100 reward" and found this website. I have found Verizon not to be very generous so why would they give out $100?
Got a call yesterday for www.myverizon100.com from 303-731-3432. Unfortunately, I have seen too many phishy links to alert me. Contacted Verizon and they verified that they did not send any offers to me. Will be calling their fraud department tomorrow.
I got a call to go to verizoneighty.com and I'd get $80 off my verizon wireless bill. I immediately called verizon and was told it was not them so disregard. My call came from Colorado. Easy way for them to access information on those who bite.
