Just got a call from the same number. The message I received told me to log onto verizonthankyou.com for a $100 towards my next phone bill. I checked it out and as much as I could tell the page was a mirror image of the actual verizon website. The difference was in the log in menu, which looked similar to Verizon's site, but asked for more info. The links on this fake page seem to send you to the real Verizon page from what I could tell.
I got the same call today from 303-731-3432. I figured it was something fishy, did not answer and it left the tail end of a message. I always check odd numbers online anyway........and of course found this. Will also be reporting to the Verizon Customer Service to report scam.
1. Received robocall stating I was eligible for a $95 discount off my bill if I went to www.myverizon95.com and logged into my account.
2. Immediately called Verizon and confirmed it was a phishing scam.
3. Checked out the web site - *very* good likeness of a Verizon website, incidentally.
4. Reported www.myverizon95.com via Firefox Help / Report Web Forgery option.
